The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways vide notification dated 25th August 2022 has issued the draft Central Motor Vehicles(Amendment) Rules, 2022. The draft amendment rules provides the standards to be followed by Traction Battery for Electric Power train Vehicles.

The standards Traction Battery for Electric Power train Vehicles for shall be applicable with effect from 1st October 2022.
