Ministry of Corporate Affairs has provided extension for last date of filing initial return in MSME Form I vide General Circular No. 01/ 2019 dated 21st February, 2019.
On 22nd January, 2019, MSME Form I was notified. As per the notification, every specified company was required to file the return of all outstanding dues to Micro or small enterprises suppliers existing on or before 21st February, 2019. However, MSME Form I was not deployed on MCA portal.
In order to avoid inconvenience to stakeholders, by this Circular, it is stated that the period of thirty days for filing initial return in MSME Form 1 shall be reckoned from the date the said e-form is deployed on the portal.
