Food Safety and Standards Authority (FSSAI) has updated the list of FSSAI Recognised Food Testing Laboratories. This notification was issued on 9th March. 2023.
It may be recalled that previously on 8th February, 2023, and then again on 14th February, 2023, FSSAI had issued a list of FSSAI Recognised Food Testing Laboratories. The FSSAI has now updated this list.
The present list includes the validity of the laboratories’ NABL accreditation, scope of testing as on 6th March, 2023 for the purpose of carrying out the analysis of food samples taken under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and Rules and Regulations made thereunder.
The recognition and validity is governed by the guidelines or orders issued by FSSAI from time to time.
