The State Government of Bihar vide its notification dated 6th January 2021 has exempted commercial passenger vehicles registered in Bihar and commercial passenger vehicles operating on a permanent permit and paying applicable road tax in the state of Bihar from paying road tax for a period of 63days.
All motor vehicles registered in the state of Bihar are exempted from penalty payable on road tax during the period 21.03.2020 to 31.3.2021
The road tax exemption for a period of 63 days as mentioned above shall be applicable on the first road tax payment by vehicle owners till 31.03.2021 from the date of effect of this notification and if the tax for the aforementioned period of 63 days has already been paid by the vehicle owner, the tax for that period shall be adjusted against the next road tax payment to be made by the vehicle owner before 31.03.2021.
