Haryana Government vide notification dated 1st April, 2020 has amended Haryana Restaurant (Consumption of Liquor) Rules, 1988. The amendment provide the procedure to get license for the establishment of Anumat Kaksh and the running methodology of such establishment.
Proper structure, furniture and cleanliness are main requirements for getting license. The overall objective is to prevent drinking in public in full view of the passersby. These establishments are to be in closed spaces with boundaries and should not be visible to general public. They require GSTIN Number and registration under FSSAI is also compulsory.
