The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on December 22, 2022, amended Appendix 28 [List of Agencies Authorized to issue Certificate of Origin (Preferential)] of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020. The list contains agencies authorized to issue Preferential Certificate of Origin (COO) for India’s exports under the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (Ind-Aus ECTA).

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) provided information in the Lok Sabha regarding the regulatory framework and steps taken to strengthen the
