The Ministry of Corporate Affairs vide its notification dated 30th March 2020 has revised the “LLP Settlement Scheme, 2020″ to reduce the compliance burden due to the unprecedented public health situation caused by Covid-19.
The Defaulting LLP can opt for the schemes and take advantage of the one-time waiver of additional filing fees for delayed filings. This option will be available from 1 April for six months up to 30 September.
However, the scheme is not applicable to LLPs who have made applications in Form 24 to the registrar for striking off their name from the register.
