MCA has deployed revised Form DPT-3 on MCA21 Company Forms Download page today ie w.e.f 1st May, 2019. Form DPT-3 shall be used for filing return of deposit or particulars of transaction not considered as deposit or both by every company other than Government company.
Recently the MCA vide amendment to the Companies (Acceptance of Deposit) Rules, 2014 mandated that every company other than Government company shall file a onetime return of outstanding receipt of money or loan but not considered as deposits, from the 01st April, 2014 to 31 March 2019, in Form DPT-3 within ninety days from the date of notification of the Rules.
The MCA has allowed further time for companies to file the one time return in Form DPT-3 without additional fee till 30 days from when it is deployed in MCA 21 portal. Now, the MCA has informed the Stakeholders that the Form has been deployed vide public statement on its website.
While filling the new form DPT-3 for disclosing details of outstanding money not treated as deposit, the company has to provide the Net Worth as per the latest audited balance sheet preceding the date of the return, details of charge created, and the Details of credit rating obtained. In addition the total amounts of outstanding money or loan received by a company but not considered as deposits in terms of rule 2(1)(c) of the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules,2014 from 01st April 2014 till 31 March 2019 shall be provided.
