The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has issued a notification regarding the Application Programming Interface (API) for daily submissions of Holding Statements and Bank Balances. This notification was issued on 13th January, 2023.
It may be recalled that by a prior circular dated 28th December, 2022 the frequency of submission of Holding statements and Bank balances was revised from weekly to daily. This revision was in effect from 16th January, 2023.
The present notification states the following:
The date of implementation of the functionality for (API) for daily submission has been extended. Hence the functionality for (API) for daily submission of Holding Statement and Bank Balances will now be applicable from 30th January, 2023, the due date of which shall be 31st January, 2023, and each day thereafter.
Additionally, the functionality for API is also made available for daily submission of Holding Statement. Therefore, the current functionality of weekly submissions of Holding Statement through the member portal will only be available for submissions till week ending 28th January, 2023.
Additionally, the mock testing facility for trading members to test the system for uploading the Holding Statement and Bank Balance submissions through API on daily basis will be available till 27th January, 2023.
