The State Government of Gujarat vide its notification dated 2nd June 2020 has imposed Weekend Shutdown’ on all Saturdays and Sundays for the month of June in 11 districts with relaxation only for emergency and public services.
The government has decided to restrict the movement of people on weekends to tackle and contain the spread of infections at the community level. Offices, commercial establishments, bus service, local transport, and non-essential services will remain shut in the 11 districts on Saturdays and Sundays till June 30.
