Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued a notice on its approval process for academic year 2024-2025. The PCI has decided to extend the opening of its portal for this purpose to pharmacy institutions. This notice was dated December 22, 2023.
It may be recalled that the PCI had issued a notice dated December 14, 2023, opening it portal to pharmacy institutions until December 31, 2023.
However, due to technical issues faced by institutions in accessing the portal, PCI has decided to extend the last date for filing applications on the portal.
The PCI portal will now be opened from December 14, 2023 till January 1, 2024. The portal can be accessed by new or existing institutions for applying for:
- continuation of approval
- introduction of new courses
- increase in admissions
- services
Any consequences arising out of failure of the institutions in applying on the portal will vest solely on the institutions. The PCI will not provide any further extensions in this regard.
Any person facing technical issues can upload their queries on the grievance portal on the PCI website. Institutions facing technical issues are requested to take a screenshot of the issue and forward it on the PCI grievance portal.
