Rajasthan State Government provides tax exemption for Vehicles solely driven by LPG CNG

The Rajasthan State Government vide notification dated February 23, 2022 has exempted fifty percent of the Motor Vehicle Tax payable on the following vehicles:-

1. Vehicles originally manufactured by vehicle manufacturers as such and solely driven by Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) or Compressed Natural Gas (CNG); and
2. Vehicles converted to be driven solely by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by retro fitment kit subject to endorsement of such retro fitment in the registration certificate. The amount of tax, if any, paid prior to endorsement of retro fitment in the registration certificate shall not be refunded.
