The scope of Andhra Pradesh (Issuance of Integrated Registration and Furnishing of Combined Returns under various Labour Laws by certain Establishments) Act, 2015, has been changed by the AP labour department by notifications G.O.Ms.No.11 and G.O.Ms.No.14, Labour Employment Training and Factories (Lab.I) dated 18th March, 2019 and 15th April, 2019, respectively.
The Act was brought to provide for issuance of integrated registration and furnishing of combined returns under certain labour laws by certain establishments in the state of Andhra Pradesh. There were 6 labour laws covered under the Act is given in schedule I at the time of enactment. By the notification dated 18th March, 2019, Following laws were inserted after serial no. 6:
7) The Beedi and Cigar workers (CoE) Act, 1966.
8) The Minimum wages Act, 1948.
9) The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.
10) The Child Adolescent Labour (P&R) Act, 1986.
11) The Boilers Act, 1923.
12) The Factories Act, 1948.
By a subsequent notification dated 15th April, 2019, “(11) The Boilers Act, 1923” was omitted.
As a result of these notifications, a single integrated registration can now be obtained and combined returns can be filed under 11 Labour laws by establishments operating in State of Andhra Pradesh. Subsequent changes have been brought in the Forms appended to the Act in Schedule II.
