A downloadable declaration form (Annexure 1) needs to be completed and submitted through the pharmacist’s institution on official letterhead. This declaration should be accompanied by the pharmacist’s latest self-attested documents.

Pharmacy Council of India Announces Action Steps for Disbursing Pradhan Mantri Scholarship for Pharmacy PG Studies (PMSPPS)
Each institution must appoint two nodal officers. One will act as the “maker” with authorization from the Principal/Head of the Institution. Pharmacists and Institutions Required to Verify Profiles for Integration with National Healthcare System
All registered pharmacists must verify their profiles on the DIGI-PHARMed portal using their ABHA number by January 4, 2025. Non-compliance will result in profile deactivation. Pharmacy institutions are responsible for ensuring their faculty have ABHA-verified profiles on DIGI-PHARMed. Starting from the 2025-2026 academic session, only ABHA-verified faculty profiles will be considered for Self-Inspection Form (SIF) applications.
PCI Launches Online Certificate Course On Rational Use of Medicines and Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced two new options for registered pharmacists to fulfill their Continuing Education Program (CEP) requirements for license renewal. The PCI has launched an online course on rational medicine use for pharmacists. Additionally, the PCI is also offering an upskilling and certification program funded by the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 4.0).
PCI Re-iterates Postponement of Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examination 2024
This decision was taken due to ongoing discussions within the Health Ministry regarding a proposed change in the scheme by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Once the Ministry approves the changes, further steps will be taken. Candidates who graduated in 2023-2024 will be registered as pharmacists until they successfully pass the Exit Examination.
