Department of Road Transport and Highways vide a notification dated 22nd July, 2021, has extended the date of commencement/ validity of certain manufacturing parts, components and assemblies of motor vehicles. The time of commencement / validity of the following are extended to 21st march, 2022:
a) Wheel rims for vehicles of categories M and N (IS 9436-2018 or IS 9438-2018)
b) Wheel rims fitted in all trailers and semi-trailers (IS 9438-2018)
c) Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Light Alloy Wheel Rims – Method of Tests and Requirements (IS 16192 Part 1 2014)
d) Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Sheet Metal Wheel Rims – Method of Tests and Requirements (IS 16192 Part 2 2014)
e) Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Spoke Wheel Rims – Method of Tests and Requirements (IS 16192 Part 3 2018)
f) Wheel rims (IS 9436-2018)
g) Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Light Alloy Wheel Rims – Method of Tests and Requirement (IS 16192 Part 1 2014)
