The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has published the results of its Independent Drive Test (IDT) assessing mobile network quality across Sangareddy City and adjoining regions of Telangana falling under the Andhra Pradesh Licensed Service Area (LSA). The tests were carried out in October 2025 under the supervision of TRAI’s Regional Office, Hyderabad.
The large-scale assessment covered 355 km of drive routes and five hotspot locations, capturing real-world performance across urban zones, institutional hotspots and rural residential pockets. Technologies tested included 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G, mapping the service experience across multiple handset capabilities.

Jio recorded the highest 5G download speed at 408.7 Mbps, while BSNL lagged significantly across parameters.

The IDT covered Sangareddy and nearby areas, including:
Gajwel, Kuknurpalle, Duddeda, Siddipet, Ramayapet, Machavaram, Papannapet, Muslapur, Sangupet, Kandi, Zaheerabad, Aroor, Patancheruvu, Narsapur, Thunki, and Kulcharam.
