The Government of Tripura vide notification dated 19.02.2020, has enacted the Tripura Rationalization of Forms and Reports under various Labour Laws Rules, 2019. The rules shall come into effect immediately after publication in the Official Gazette. The rules have been brought in for better maintenance of forms under labor laws.
The Rules allows maintenance of forms under certain labour laws such as The Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970to be done electronically or in any other form. Certain provisions of state rules such the Tripura Inter- State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Services) Rules, 1980, Tripura Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Rules, 1978, etc. have been amended.
