Zydus Hospital receives global clean green OT certification

VADODARA: Zydus Hospital, a 150-bedded tertiary care multi-speciality hospital in Anand has been awarded with clean green OT certification by Bureau Veritas, a global certification agency recently.

The clean green OT certification was handed over by Vivek Nair (head-critical care) of Abbott, Ketan Shah, (manager – sales and marketing, centre west region) to Pragnesh Gor, centre head of the hospital in the presence of clinicians, nurses, OT technicians and senior management staff of the hospital.

It is the 18th hospital of the country to receive this prestigious certification. “This certification confirms from an OT perspective that all parameters like air flows, OT set up, anesthesia machines, types of volatile agents used, filling systems adopted and scavenging systems are in place and green connotes cleaner techniques using modern technology and processes with a sensitive approach to environment,” a release issued by the hospital said.

“The hospital is now coupled with accelerated standards of quality care, safety and infection free environment, which has enabled and motivated its clinicians, nurses and other care givers to offer complete medical care to all its patients,” it further mentioned.

“We are now preparing ourselves for nursing excellence certification by the Quality Council of India,” said Gor.
