CBIC extends due dates of GSTR-1, GSTR-7 and GSTR-3B in Jammu and Kashmir
CBIC has issued various notification for extending the due dates for furnishing returns in Form GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-7 in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Due date for filing these returns have been extended till 30th November, 2019.
Haryana government mandates hospitals to notify the health department about the cases of Influenza A H1N1
The State Government of Haryana in its Notification dated 19th November 2019 has published the Haryana Epidemic Diseases, Influenza A H1N1 Regulation, 2019, under which all hospitals are obligated to report to health department about, and provide treatment as per guidelines to, all suspected and confirmed cases of the epidemic infection.

The State Government of Andhra Pradesh in its notification dated 25th November, 2019 has published the Andhra Pradesh Excise (Grant of Licence of selling by Bar and conditions of licence) Rules, 2019. The new rule envisaged a reduction in the number of bars in each Urban Local Body by 40% and increased the license fee, and reduced the business hours aiming to further curtail the availability of alcoholic beverages to the general public

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 25th November 2019 has introduced the taxation amendment bill 2019 in Lok Sabha to amend the Income Tax Act and to replace the Ordinance that was used to slash corporate tax rate to stimulate growth rate in a slowing economy.
FSSAI directs food commissioners to initiate surveillance to prevent unauthorized use of harmful substances into cumin
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued a letter dated 25th November 2019 to the Commissioners of Food Safety of all states/UTs to undertake regular surveillance and enforcement activities to curb the mixing of harmful substances into cumin and in case where the food samples are found to be non-conforming, recourse is to be taken under the penal provisions of the Act .
CBIC Issues notification to explain the term bus ‘body building’
The Central board of indirect taxes and customs vide notification dated 22nd November 2019, has inserted the following explanation for term ‘bus body building’ which was mentioned in its earlier notification dated 28th June 2017, so as to include building of body on chassis of any vehicle.

The Central Board of Indirect taxes has launched an exchange of information portal for dissemination of information to all stakeholders. The web portal will be a repository of policy and technical circulars, guidance and notification issued by CBDT and will also provides links to relevant circulars and guidance issued by Indian authorities and international bodies.
The State Government of Bihar has revised the additional fee for fitness defaulter vehicle
The State Government of Bihar vide notification dated 15th November 2019 has reduced the additional fee for delay in getting the fitness certificate for vehicles from Rupees 50/ to Rupees 10/ and the time period to avail the benefit has been fixed to 90 days from the date of publication of this notification.
