Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution vide press release dated 10 April, 2023, has issued directions to ensure that BIS Certification is enforced on required products for consumer safety. State heads should ensure that BIS Certification is enforced on required products. Greater focus is given to consumer safety in north eastern states.
