BOPT Issues Advisory on Missed NATS 2.0 Contracts

The Board of Practical Training (BOPT) has issued a notification addressing the inability of establishments to create apprenticeship contracts on the NATS 2.0 portal during its scheduled maintenance window from July 19 to July 24, 2025.

The downtime rendered the system unavailable for contract creation, and due to system limitations, contracts that were not created during this period can no longer be processed retroactively through the portal.

🔧 Action Required by Establishments and TPA Partners

To resolve this issue, BOPT has requested all affected establishments and Third Party Aggregators (TPAs) to submit a formal request via email to their respective Assistant Directors with the following details:

  1. Apprentice Enrolment Number
  2. Date of Apprentice’s Joining
  3. Name of the Establishment
  4. Establishment NATS ID

The deadline for submission is July 29, 2025, and timely compliance is essential for consideration of the missed contracts.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • The portal maintenance was pre-scheduled, but its impact on contract timelines has prompted this exceptional measure.
  • BOPT has regretted the inconvenience caused and assured establishments of support in resolving the missed entries.
  • Only cases affected during the downtime will be considered for manual review and processing.

📬 Whom to Contact?

Establishments should reach out to the respective Assistant Directors of BOPT via email. Contact details are available on the official BOPT website (or as per regional circulars).
