The Union Territory of Ladakh has revised the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees drawing salary as per the 6th Central Pay Commission (CPC) scales. As per Order the DA rate has been increased from 246% to 252% of the basic pay, with effect from 1st January 2025.

The increase is in accordance with the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure’s Office Memorandum No. 1/1(2)/2025-E.II(B) dated 02 April 2025.
Rounding Off Guidelines:
- 50 paise and above shall be rounded to the next rupee.
- Less than 50 paise shall be ignored.

Conclusion:
This DA revision offers much-needed relief to employees still governed by the 6th CPC, helping them better cope with inflation. It also aligns Ladakh’s pay policies with national DA revision norms.
