Dental Council of India Urges States to Ease Registration Rules for Job Applicants
The DCI recommends that state governments allow dentists to apply for vacancies with their existing registration from any State Dental Council. Once a candidate is selected, the state government can then request the applicant to transfer their registration under Section 46A of the Dentists Act, 1948.
NEET-MDS 2025: Internship Deadline Extended, Exam Date Remains Unchanged
The Government of India has announced an extension to the internship completion deadline for candidates appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) 2025 to June 30, 2025. Despite the extension of the internship deadline, the NEET-MDS 2025 examination will proceed as scheduled on April 19, 2025.

DCI Revises Timeline For Uploading Details Of Students Admitted in BDS 2024-2025 Course
The Dental Council of India (DCI) has issued a notice regarding the last date for uploading details of students joining BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) programs for the academic year 2024-25. Student data fo the All India Quota (AIQ)/ Deemed/ Central Universities counseling must be submitted by November 30, 2024. Students details for State Counseling must be submitted by December 5, 2024.
