The Central Government vide notification dated 26th April, 2023 amended the Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021. The amendment provides that the provisions of “Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021” shall apply to television sets.
