Central Motor Vehicles (Thirteenth Amendment) Rules, 2022

The amendment provides that the licence plates for a vehicle shall be issued by the registering authority or approved the licence plates manufacturers or their dealers approved by the State Government or Union Territory Administration.

Ministry of Port notifies Draft Indian Ports Bill, 2022.

The bill provides for adjudicatory mechanisms for redressal of port related disputes and to establish a national council for fostering structured growth and development of the port sector, and ensure optimum utilization of the coastline of India, as may be necessary, and to provide for matters ancillary and incidental thereto, or connected therewith.

IFSCA notifies framework for ship leasing.

The applicant shall set up operations in an IFSC in the form of a Company or a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) or a Trust or a Branch under this Framework or in any other form as may be specified by the IFSCA from time to time.

Central Motor Vehicles (Twelfth Amendment) Rules, 2022

The amendment provides that the vehicles manufactured on and after the 1st day of April 2016 shall comply with Bharat Stage-IV emission norms for two and three wheeler. CNG vehicles or kit components, including their installation, shall conform to the safety checks enlisted in the amendment.
