The Government of Himachal Pradesh has proposed a comprehensive revision of minimum wages for unskilled and other categories of workers across a wide range of scheduled employments. The new wage rates will come into effect from April 1, 2025.

The minimum wage revision will apply to the following 19 scheduled employments:
- Agriculture
- Construction or Maintenance of Roads/Buildings, Stone Breaking, and Stone Crushing
- Public Motor Transport
- Shops and Commercial Establishments
- Forestry Industries
- Chemical and Chemical Products
- Engineering Industries
- Tea Plantation
- Manufacturing Processes (as defined in clause (k) of Section 2, Factories Act, 1948)
- Hotels and Restaurants
- Private Educational Institutions
- Hydro Power Projects
- Pharmaceutical Industries
- Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Clinics
- Domestic Workers
- Safai Karamchari Employment
- Security Services
- Temples, Religious Places, and Dharamshalas
- Toll Tax Barriers
